December 4, 2005 at 1:27 amWhen I got my 20D and whatever the model of the SLR I had before it was, I got free software with it that controlled the camera. I loosely seem to remember that it would do timelapse. Like you said try Nikon or Canon.com (depending which cam).

if you shot it already i believe i read a trick you can do with the echo filter and some rough image manipulation and compositing some dupes.let us know if you find what you are looking for.

December 22, 2005 at 6:28 amI went to canon.com and downloaded the latest software for the 20D. You no longer use ‘EOS capture’ but download the latest version of ‘Image Browser’. They integrated the camera control into that. I hooked up my 20D and set it to shoot every 10 seconds with a slow shutter. Did a very nice timelapse.
Then just drag the folder it made into AE clicking on ‘image sequence’ on import and you have instant timelapse 🙂
