FCPX Files Appear Black In Timeline – Cannot Relink

So I had the same problem this morning – I was editing files last night and turned off everything. Came back in this morning and boom – red blocks and files missing. Okay, so I go and do the relink files under Files. All of the files were not found. So what I did was I go into my project and re-imported the same files and now everything works.
