    Its usually a background player.”

    That is a great point! In all the “I never use/don’t need XML” posts I don’t think anyone has mentioned that.
    Maybe a lot of us assume they never use any part of the suite but FCP.

    I have a system, it has stuff in it, and stuff hooked to it. I have a camera, it can record stuff. I read the manuals, and know how to use this stuff and lots of other stuff too.
