    This is what I found:
    https://www.blackmagicdesign.com/media/4805315/Resolve_Mac_Config_Guide_2012-08-30.pdf
    page 15 :
The ATI Radeon HD 5770 is a standard graphics card with the 2010 and 2012 series of Mac Pro computers.

    I have hd images 1920/1080
Shouldn’t it work with my ati card?

We only recommend the HD5770 and GT120 cards be used as GUI display cards for Resolve.

That said, if you have HD files, those should load and work in Resolve with just the HD5770 card. If you did a bunch of crazy parallel node structures, you might exceed the 1GB VRAM capacity. But to just load the media with a single node on the Color page, yes, that should work fine with the HD5770 card.

If you are loading HD clips into the Media Pool, and you have the Resolve Timeline resolution set to HD, and you are getting the error message, my best guess would be it’s an OS issue of some sort. Are you running in 64 bit mode? Resolve 9 and higher requires OS X to be in 64 bit mode. The default mode for OS X 10.6.8 is 32 bit mode. If you are in 32 bit mode, that is the problem.

I downloaded Kernel Startup program to make it possible to choose to start up in 64 bit mode.
But still the same problem I am afraid. And I should be in 64 bit mode now (I tried it several times again)
If I see that I imported .mov in davinci, by using finder to find the media. It is not xml I imported I guess.I don’t know if that has something to do with it (the xml I do not find using davince to search)

i tried everything and no way..please help!!!
