April 7, 2015 at 8:21 pmThanks Noah according to support were all good 🙂
Back in 2012 I signed up for RED Training and was honestly one of the first.
Then some goofy thing happened and I was told I didnt even sign up.
Jarred Land caught wind of this and gave up his seat for me 🙂
Nice to have that kind of support in this community. -

April 9, 2015 at 3:23 amTim,
I’m a bit confused by your posts.
The FCPWorks event is NOT a part of NAB per se. So there’s no actual “ticket” or “admission” involved. Like most events in a hotel ballroom type setting, they asked people to register so they have an idea of how many people they need to accommodate. That registration is being handled by EventBrite, one of the biggest event attendance management systems on the web. We use EB for charity fundraisers back in Arizona all the time. It just lets you print out a list of attendees so you know who’s coming and have enough capacity for the size of the crowd that’s likely to show up. If you’re having problems with the EventBrite system, seems to me Noah has been trying to help you out, but the registration engine it’s not a thing that FCPWorks or Apple controls. It’s a large commercial system that manages events of all sizes globally. So I”m not sure how “GA” (presuming general admission?) plays into this. You’re in the system for the event or not. You’re on the tally list for Session A, or B, or whatever, or not.
Not much else to figure out.
I help run the front end of the Supermeets every year and even when we’re technically oversold, we still try to accommodate everyone if we can. At least until the fire marshall comes by and yells at us.
And that’s a PAID ticket. This is free, after all.Know someone who teaches video editing in elementary school, high school or college? Tell them to check out http://www.StartEditingNow.com – video editing curriculum complete with licensed practice content.

April 9, 2015 at 12:41 pmThere was technical issues with the site and support was very helpful.
I accidentally signed up three times (same for my partner) and hopefully that doesnt cause an issue with others.
I am sure you guys caught that when you do your list 🙂 -
