FCP5.0 and P2 File Import

I updated to 5.0.4 and the import worked. Thank you very much for the help on that. (even though there still are no preferences in the import window in that version)
If I now set the sequence settings exactly to what the clip is 1280×720 720p60 59.94fps should I then be able to drag the clip into the sequence and play it in the sequence without having to render first?Thanks,

Just choose the DVCPRO HD 720p60 Easy Setup and you’ll be set. The footage is 920×720…anamorphic HD.
