FCP 6.0.2 and P2 files

Does anyone have a solution to the mentioned problem above?

After QT update to 7.3.1 FCP 6.0.2 cant show the files and if i open the files directly from the hard drive i get the movie atom failure.

Please help!

Yes. Go to the imagine products website and download the “FIX” that Apple should have included in their update in quicktime. Apple dropped the ball on this one big time.

Is the fix the P2LogPro v.2.3.4? If so, i did download that one, but still the FCP cant read the files and i get a “general error”

It’s called “Quicktime 7.3 Repair Tool”.

Costs $29.00 bucks and I was happy to pay it as it repaired 2.5 TB of “public atom error” P2 media in less than 5 minutes. Perfectly.

Apple refuses to admit their fault in this matter.
