FCP 6-I shot a wedding where Pastor had a mic Bride & Groom did not, so their vows need to have audio level raised….

What I was asking is, how do I apply the compressor filter to just areas where the bride and groom speak? I don’t think I need it on the entire clip, as the rest of the clip is just fine.

doh! sorry. i misunderstood and probably spoke WAAAAY below you. my bad.

as far as i can tell, i would see two ways:

keep one long un-cut clip and keyframe the filter in and out, OR

cut the clip everywhere they speak and apply the filter on those sub-clips…
