    HI, Richard

Mine’s arriving tomorrow and my Adobe CS2 arrived yesterday. Your new PS DVD is terrific and I’ll be writing some very glowing words about it.

Apple emailed me the Fed Ex tracking number, and mine is shipping tomorrow!

Quick (possibly stupid) question – does FCP5 only run on Tiger? Also, does it only work with QT7?

I have a show that starts editing next week, and I’m SOOOOO tempted to use FCP5 as I have multi-camera set ups. But, I realize this could be an exercise in frustration. I’d just like to run FCP5 without getting caught up in Tiger troubleshooting.

    10.3.9 or newer…

but 10.4.0 needed for certain features….

QT7 required to be installed first

Are the projects backward compatible? Can FCP 5’s projects be opened by 4.5? I know 4.5’s projects could not be opened by 4.1.

    Thanks

    Plenty on Apple’s website…

    Basically

Core Video – big for Motion
    HD DVDs

    Rest is on Apple’s site

Ok. I was thinking features specific to FCP. I have not heard anything about FCP taking advantage of Core Video but would be happy to hear it did.
