Mine’s arriving tomorrow and my Adobe CS2 arrived yesterday. Your new PS DVD is terrific and I’ll be writing some very glowing words about it.

Quick (possibly stupid) question – does FCP5 only run on Tiger? Also, does it only work with QT7?
I have a show that starts editing next week, and I’m SOOOOO tempted to use FCP5 as I have multi-camera set ups. But, I realize this could be an exercise in frustration. I’d just like to run FCP5 without getting caught up in Tiger troubleshooting.

May 18, 2005 at 5:28 amAre the projects backward compatible? Can FCP 5’s projects be opened by 4.5? I know 4.5’s projects could not be opened by 4.1.
Thanks

May 18, 2005 at 6:16 amOk. I was thinking features specific to FCP. I have not heard anything about FCP taking advantage of Core Video but would be happy to hear it did.
