    Here is how to do Filip Vandueren’s suggestion:

    To move the anchor point do one of the below:

    1) Double click the layer in the timeline window, this opens the layer window, now grab that little circle in the middle of the layer and slide it down to the bottom,
    close that tab and reposition the layer to where it was before, and then you’ll see it’s only scaling upward (also it rotates around that anchor point, tweak the rotation a little to see).

    or, and this is probably easier:

    2) Use the “Pan Behind Tool” (Y) (Third from the right-bottom row-tool palette) and move the anchor point down (Still in the comp window here). You’ll see you don’t have to reposition anything, AE compensates automatically.
