Export file not working with Quicktime Pro

You need to go into the folder properties and change the settings so that you can see the file names.
I only have XP but the procedure is similar in Vista and Windows7/8.
Open up a folder and go Tools – Folder Options – View and deselect “Hide extensions for known file types”.

Yea, Microsoft though it would be funny to hide these from you. lol

On Windows 7, open any Windows Explorer window and in the upper left, click on the menu item Organize | Folder and search options then go to the View tab and uncheck “Hide extensions for known file types“.

Then you will see the file types again.

jr…yeah, I’ve always used a 740 x 556 frame size. Works well for internet stream. I have tried all of the Sony AVC templates in Vegas 12 and none of them allow a custom frame size…only a few choices

Wow…I’m really baffled here. JR, none of those Sony Memory Stick templates allow you to do a custom frame size.
Am I missing something?

Also, the choice of square “1” ASPECT FOR PIXEL is only in a few templates, not all

Sure it can. Start with the “Memory Stick SD NTSC – 6256 Kbps” template. Change these:

Video Format: AVC
Frame Size: (Custom frame size)
Width: 740
Height: 556
Field Order: None (progressive scan)
Pixel aspect ratio: 1.0000

Right on JR! That works. Now I just need to make a custom bit rate and it won’t allow it. Only 4 choices for bit rate in your settings suggestion.
Any ideas? I always like a bit rate of 1,500,000

This gets by a lot of people because they see the drop down and think it’s a pick list but actually, it’s just a suggested list. You can type 1,500,000 in there if you’d like and it will use it.
