[Expletive deleted] Can’t “share”, and YouTube spurns FCPX-generated .mov files!

I am suddenly not able to “Share” at all, with any of the choices.
No fly out menu appears. Don’t know how I can get my movie exported now. Was working problem free for 3 weeks, now this. Don’t recall changing anything. Had started in 10.0, then updated to 10.0.1 and all was OK for awhile.

BTW, at exactly the same time, on a second computer, now I can only load a event, but can’t scrub it, or create a project. When I click anywhere, just get endless spinning wheel of death.

Tried everything, reinstalling program from app store, tried to go back to 10.0. No peripherals are connected. I moved all of my events and projects off to an external drive to start over clean. Even re-captured my event from camera in case it had become corrupted.
