error compiling movie – render error. can’t export- what to do?

I’ve had that happen over the years. It always seems to be very robust transition or a short clip that is from some unusual source. Hang in there and eliminate one small thing at a time…..

Yeh I know that Premiere doesn’t like Audio files and that it’s best to convert those. So I’ve duplicated my entire sequence and deleted any audio and even unticked export audio in the audio dialogue (just to make sure) and still it would crash.

I had exactly the same error and for me it was fixed after I did the following:
– Close all programs
– Run CCleaner or similar software
– Restart PC
– Try rendering with media encoder again

I did not have to make any compromises with my settings afterwards, so I do think its something in a cache somewhere.
