    Mettle’s ShapeShifter is the only 3D capable product out there that fully supports AE’s Text Tool and its Animation Presets. It’s an amazing tool if you want textured text together with AE’s Text animation tools.

    Thanks for the info Roland . I didnt know that. I probably will stick with Proanimator since it has more to off and renders much more quickly since its not ray tracing.

    Thanks for the kind words Roland. I agree with Tudor, each offering has it’s strengths and weaknesses. I would buy all 3.

    To second Roland, ShapeShifter AE is fast and it allows for instant preview of how your 3d text looks like in the final comp. I am a big fan of Zaxwerks also, but there are instances where SSAE is faster. So I got both and use them for different situations.

    Yes, I did see that. I also spoke to him at NAB and on the phone a while ago.
