November 26, 2016 at 2:38 amYuri’s registry entry change worked for me to fix the greyed out “Edit in Adobe Audition” issue in Premiere.

November 26, 2016 at 3:06 amNot me. As I said, had to uninstall and re-install Audition first, then Premiere Pro. Just another solution in case the others don’t work for ya.

February 25, 2019 at 8:49 pmIn case anyone searches this in the future, I had this issue and this is what I did. I don’t normally use Audition, so I didn’t have it installed. After installing and playing around in the program, I went to edit the Premier Pro clip in Audition, but it was greyed out. I saved the file, quit and relaunched Premier Pro, and it worked fine. Just make sure that the audio clip is in a sequence first.
