    Hi,
I just found that the new Sony Vegas Platinum 11 is available. It should already support 1920x1080x50p format I asked about some time earlier. (It should manage even 3D).
Now, the question is: Does anybody know, if it also already support AVCHD smart rendering?
(I expect the reply “No”, but who knows… It would be great !)
    Thanks Libor

    Hi,
My Vegas Platinum 11 don’t made 1920x1080p50 with smart rendering.
Vegas change the GOP (Group of Pictures) of 24 to 26 and changes the audio format from 16 to 32bit.
The camera cannot play the edited video.

    Regards
    George

It’s a pity. I only tried to edit AVCHD 1920×1080-50p clip (Vegas PLatinum 11, user project setting to get 50p, Sony AVCHD 50p output codec) that has been downloaded from somewhere internet. For sure my AZBOX plays the edited movie well. It’s weird that (according to you) the camera CX700 does not!

FYI Vegas Pro 103 can consume and edit the 1080 60p from the CX770V or the NX70:

If your target project is Blu-Ray 24p, the 60p footage can be slowed down for hi-res slo-mo of 60/24! Or, 2;1 for YouTube.
