one I use sometimes is to “create & set proxy” for dynamic link in AE, but do it at full res.
that way I can manage where the files land, and there’s no extra clutter in PPro….
i was sort of curious if GPC would negate that…
but your points are valid.

I use full-res proxies like that all the time when I’m working in Ae only, but when I’m working across Ae and Pr, I prefer to do all file management in Pr rather than splitting it across the two apps. Project link lets you get the easy link back to the AEP that you’d get with dynamic link, but by managing the render as a media file in Pr, you maintain the abilities to use the project manager and XML.
