August 13, 2011 at 1:16 amI did suggest a drop in burning speed in my first post! I don’t believe you can do it in DVDA, hence why I use Nero!!!!!!!!!!
I obviously was not clear enough in my explanation.
My system specs: Intel i7 970, 12GB RAM, ASUS P6T, Vegas Pro 10e (x32/x64), Windows 7 x64 Ultimate, Vegas Production Assistant 1.0, VASST Ultimate S Pro 4.1, Neat Video Pro 2.6

August 18, 2011 at 12:27 amSorry Nigel,
I totally missed that in your post. It certainly would have saved me a great deal of time, because yes you can vary the burn speed in DVDA, which I am now doing and it has solved the issue.
Thanks again for your help.
Dan.

May 12, 2012 at 6:52 pmThanks for your post, it was the “right thing” at the “right time”!!
I’ve tried many of the above suggestions, but the “Silver Bullet” was setting the burn speed to lower rates. Life is good, just like you said, thanks.
