February 29, 2008 at 10:48 pm[Tom Matthies] “I sent my project thru Compressor with not good results. After that (with a deadline looming) I exported as a photojpeg sequence at 59.94. That worked. Encore took it in without any problems and encoded it. Quite slow but it worked.”
We probably ran a timeline through Compressor 10 – 20 times before we hit on the settings that we now use. We’re now able to mirror the original DVCPro HD material via Compressor in MPEG-2. We will try H.264 again when we to to do our next title, but Compressor is working quite well for us.
