DVCPRO HD in QuickTime Pro on PC?

Ha- I agree with you Barry. It is petty but it’s also probably wise business on their part to compel you into going Mac if you want to work with QuickTime and DVCPROHD. If there were something similarly tasty beyond games that was PC only I’d probably feel equally compelled to cross the line going the other way.

It also bugs me that every new version of FCP is not downwardly compatible. So if you save a project in FCP 5.1.2 it cannot be opened in 5.1 or anything older. So while I don’t see this as a practice unique to Apple I do agree it bugs that we can’t do everything we want to.
