April 1, 2006 at 10:46 pmPlugins compiled for Power PC will work continue to work on Power PC machines but not Intel machines. Plugins need to be updated to Universal Binaries to work on Intel machines.

April 2, 2006 at 12:56 amI know that FCP & Motion is a large part of my life, but I do other things as well!
I will try some bechmark tests as above on Sunday.
Also the question about plugins above does not apply to plugins written with FXPlug or whatever its called – Graeme’s filters being one example.
AE filters are meant not to work, but again Imight try running sapphire within Motion andd see what happens 😉Peter

April 2, 2006 at 2:26 pmCan you set up a cluster with the intel notebook for use with compressor? I am curious to see if you can
use your G5 as the main station and have the two work together. Or, if stuido 5.1 needs to be on both machines.
