November 23, 2012 at 5:43 pmThe D800 films for 30 minutes and produces stunning images on the Ninja2 with uncompressed HDMI out. I think the ned D600 does to.

November 26, 2012 at 4:32 amI have tryed frames from hd video (canon 650) and they are far away from still pictures,
my experience is to have a camera for video and other for pictures, thats why I bought 3 cameras (650) instead of a 1 full frame.for lenses I use :
tokina 11 – 16 mm 2.8
tamrom 24 – 70 mm 2.8
2 canon 50mm 1.4
nikkor 100 mm 2.8
nikkor 24 mm 2.8I have recorded more than 700 hours of multiple projects with al sorts of weather, light and conditions, I love my set of canons 650 – t4i

November 28, 2012 at 10:21 pmim wondering if the Panasonic 150 v camera and a canon 6D can be a good combination for weddings,
aside the idea i asked about grabbing pictures from the videos im also actually asking for advise on which camera
my list again:
*Full Frame,
*HD VIDEO, as well as live video out,
*Optional lenses, 27-100+ & 35mm
*Good Depth of field,
*Decent recording time, not only a few minutes or i have to get a ninja card for SLRs if they are worth it?. -

December 5, 2012 at 3:03 pm5D Mk III is definetly a great choice. You haven’t mentioned a budget.
Sony NEX FS700U is a great choice, but it will cost a lot more.
https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/853273-REG/Sony_NEX_FS700_4K_Ready_High_Speed.htmlCanon’s new C100 is also great.
The FS700 and C100 are video cameras that let you mount DSLR lenses. It gives you the audio and video controls you need in a video camera.
Also, it’s a good idea to have a 60D or equal camera to give you a cropped image. This comes in handy when you are stuck in the back when shooting (which happened to me recently). It’ll save you when you need a bit more distance coverage.
