August 31, 2011 at 4:02 amDon’t mind Bob. He gets condescending from time to time, especially when defending “his” vendors. I’ve had my challenges with BMD support and think you should point out when you aren’t happy or need help.

August 31, 2011 at 4:07 amNeil’s suggestion is a good one. The compatibility matrix with BMD is pretty complex and in the PC world it could be anything from memory to PCIe bridge to who knows what and it could even be two approved components conflicting with each other in weird ways. The great thing about BMD on MacPro hardware is that it will just work, or something is definitely broken/hardware failure.
First test, pop into a MacPro.
As mentioned by others: BIOS updates, Driver updates (video cards too) and firmware updates all rank as possible culprits.

Bought a Lenovo K330 this afternoon to do some live streaming but it and the Decklink SDI card don’t seem to be compatible.
