this is a function that is obviously useful.
it’d be a shame if it wasn’t in other NLEs.

i did a bit of a re-cap on AVID a while back, and was disappointed about a few essential functions that just weren’t available, mainly the very limited number of assignable shortcuts.

i know it’s got great things that FCP doesn’t, but i’ll miss FCP too.
