February 9, 2012 at 6:07 pmI tried to see your link, but it wouldn’t open. FYI I do corporate shooting with Sony V1U gear (upgrading soon) light kit and condenser shotgun/wireless pkg for $750/day. When I’m shooting modest budget commercials around the country and hiring gear and shooters, I’m paying $800-$1100/day for experienced guys w/out gear.

September 7, 2015 at 9:12 pmI do robo and studio ped cam primarily, however, by early January of ’16, I’ll be finally going into the field to do some camera work. Mainly, because the money is much better and two I’m tired of being cooped up in a studio or small robo room. I work in DC, is that $450 day rate correct for this area? I don’t have gear, the gear is provided. It’s too soon to discuss the salary with the supervisor, so I’m trying to get an idea of the salary and job conditions.
I appreciate any feedback anyone can provide.
Charlie
