June 6, 2012 at 6:55 amHi Dwaine
thank you for the great explanation. But there is something i am not sure about.
my configuration is;
-I have Davinci Resolve (full version)
-I have Mac Pro 2×2.4 with 32 GBram
-GT 120 (for GUI?)
-Quadro 4000 (for GPU?)
-I am using Red Scarlet 4K files.I put gt120 and 4000 to proper slots (as written in resolve configuration guide). There is no warning messages in resolve openings.
But i am still not sure if resolve use 4000 as GPU. How can i see that? is there any sign/menu in resolve?any help?
regards

February 25, 2013 at 11:13 amHow do you set a gtx 690 in davinci lite to use half as gui and half for gpu.
Resolve Lite is limited to using only one GPU card. You can still use a second graphics card for the GUI display.

January 14, 2015 at 4:26 pmHi there! I have a big curiosity about my system, equipped with one gtx580 capable gaining power directly from the board. In a first moment I tried gtx580 together with gt120 for GUI, but resolve 11 didn’t show gt120 in the general info window. So I sold it in order to retrieve pci room.
Anyone could tell me how big is the performance difference between gtx580 only and gtx580+gt120(GUI)? It should be worth adding it again? In the test I attempted, it’s like nothing was changing, but maybe you can help me
Thnx in advance!
