December 22, 2010 at 6:20 pmThere is a cue offset function which you can perhaps use. Basically, set it to a high enough number, and it will cue you right in the middle of the scene when you hit next scene, prev scene. Not sure if that’s useful, but might be worth trying. This is in the config page, Settings tab I think.

December 22, 2010 at 6:46 pmI’m already getting calls about this, so thought I’d post a note here. On the Blackmagic Design web site, in the DaVinci Support section, the Resolve software links are still pointing to the 7.0.3 version. That will be updated shortly. In the mean time, just go back to the main BMD site, and select the Support link. On the Support page, select the Software Downloads link. Then scroll down to the Color Correction section. There you will find links for the Linux and Mac versions. Those links will download the 7.1 Resolve version.

December 22, 2010 at 7:16 pmI’m thinking the same. Was hoping for JL Cooper support, and here it is! But the norwegian reseller haven’t responded to my emails or calls, so.. I guess it’s back to square 1.. The Wave.. Or cross my fingers and hope for MC Color support asap.

December 22, 2010 at 8:47 pmWow, absolutely fantastic update! I’m traveling for Christmas – is it bad that I now want to get back to my studio to try the new stuff out?!
List of features sounds superb – in addition to things already mentioned I’m really excited to try out is red meta grouping and copy paste. Coincidentally I’m just working on a project where the DP was, ahh, rather loose with his red settings on set, and I have to do a lot of fixing.
Merry Christmas to you guys!

December 23, 2010 at 1:00 amHi Dwaine,
Thank you for covering the period during which the different parts of the website were being updated. The DaVinci Resolve 7.1 software download now appears in both the DaVinci pages and the main Blackmagic Design website.
