customize canvas to 35mm jpg format

OOOPPs.. I guess when I got to the bottom of the thread the only thing that stuck was masking the frame and cropping and I was thinking top and bottom which is where my confusion came in. I see James mentioned lopping off the sides.
I suppose the thing to do would have been to mask the still camera to 16X9 if the plan was to finish in FCP.

Sorry I disappeared there for a while… didn’t mention that I am in the Philippines right now so opposite to EST. Thanks for all your input, I reviewing my options today. For those that mentioned Adobe AE and/or Combustion, sadly I don’t have this software (could dload a trial though).
