    Yeah, me too, but in practice it is not the case.

    Even some benchmark testers still find the ATI 2600HD faster under some circumstances (non-CUDA).
    Most users who have explored the flashed GTX series have the 4000 pegged as a very expensive lame duck.

    Put the 4800 as the GPU and system runs a little faster in DaVinci.

    Does the GUI card make any difference at all to performance of DaVinci or totally irrelevant?

    Quadro 4000 is hobbled by Memory Bandwidth

    The 4800 is a slightly downclocked GTX285 and is almost as good as one in terms of memory bandwidth
