CS 5.5 Encore and Mac compatible blu ray burner

I’m trying to create a blu-ray image, then burn from Disk Utility to see if I have better luck

Thanks for your post. I went out an bought the LG BE12LU38 which doesn’t say it is compatible with a MAC, but I am running a iMac with LION and using Adobe Master Collection 5.5 and it worked like a charm. I plugged it in and put a disc in and the MAC recognized it. Awesome, thanks for your post.

I got an LG Blu-Ray burner (BP40) and want to use it with Encore 5.5 on my MBP. But the drive doesn’t show up on the desktop. Am I overlooking something?

Is the drive showing up in the Macpro system report? Also which connection are you using?
