[Andrew Lenczycki] “But John, if you uncheck the “Push off previous image” checkbox in the “Push” transition, it really becomes a wipe.”

No it doesn’t. Here is the difference. Place a still image on the timeline and split it in half and make a transition on itself. Place a wipe on the transition. Play the wipe. You should see absolutely no change because the wipe from one still image to the same still image will be imperceptible. Do the same thing with a Push and check any boxes that you want.. One of the still images (or both) are going to move, because Push is not a Wipe. With a wipe, nothing moves except the wipe point.

[Momo Detouba] “And can you show me the sample of 3 split screen in 1600 x 900 ones?”

You want each crop to be 533×900. The last one can be 534 because 1600 doesn’t divide evenly by 3.

John, I have some problem while changing the size. Every time I change width size and the height changed as well, how do I set the settings so width and height will not change together?

Yea, you have to deselect Maintain Aspect otherwise changing one dimension will adjust the other to maintain the aspect ratio. Glad you figured it out.

John, you’re absolutely right. After Momo insisted that the wipe wasn’t doing what he wanted, I went back and compared the wipe to the push. I’d already figured that out the slight difference, and reposted to Momo (see my post above) for how to get what he wants (a true wipe) with a vertical colored bar.
