September 11, 2010 at 1:18 amAmongst its many talents, MPEG Streamclip exposes all the settings that QT Pro has, it just puts them right in front of your face so they’re really easy to see.
I use it for batch converting anything (with Perian’s help) to WMVs every day. In my dock I have Finder, FCP, then MPEG Streamclip.
For WMVs, I find the preset “Presentation, High” to give good results with not much pain. As others have pointed out, that odd size may cause problems.

October 13, 2010 at 4:40 pmI use the program MelodyCan. It’s free, there’s no malware or advertising, and it’s pretty darn easy to use. It will convert literally everything out there.

Personally, i use AppGeeker to convert .mov to .wmv.
It’s a nice little program that can convert back and forth from most formats. We have used it quite a bit to render from mov into wmv format.I think that guy has passed this issue. lol…
