    Hi Ed,
The question is that I put in my web site few QT h264.
I’m very happy how they play in the Macs. My friends that uses PC and have QT for Windows they can play the clips too.
But I want that the people that use Flash Player can watch them too.
Which extension should I put in the clips?
    I found this doc:

    https://www.jeroenwijering.com/?thread=10143

There they say that .mv4 would work with Flash Player. This would be great because I tried .mv4 and QT can play it. If Flash Player can do it too, great.
The thing is that the guy who made my web have not much idea about video.
I would like to have some inputs before I start to change nothing in the web.
Thanks in advance for your help,
    Rafael

That’s a good site with useful information. This one below should help you understand it better too. It’s a 5 page tutorial. One of the most important things is that that moov atom in a file is usually put at the end of the file. That forces the entire video to download before playing (it doesn’t affect streaming video, just progressive download). They have a few tools listed on page 2 that moves the moov atom to the header, so it will progressively download. Adobe says they’ll fix it in an update.

    Here’s another good basic how-to:

And some folks have been simply changing the tag from .mov to .M4V which can cause problems. I think it’s best to encode right to .m4v

I meant to say .f4v instead of .m4v. But Adobe does say that Flash supports all of these variations of H.264:
    F4V, MP4, M4A, MOV, MP4V, 3GP, 3G2
