Component video over cat 5 or 6 ?

Hi, sorry for busting in here…. We have 27 cameras with long cable runs (cat 6) of up to 500 meters or more. We have decent picture quality but our problem lies with the installation of the cables. Al cables are above ground, not armored and we are getting problems with cable breaks(rats eating through the insulation and eventually the conductors) We are thinking of replacing cables with armored cables. Our facility is in Nigeria. Do one get Cat 6 armored cable in multi pairs (6-10 pairs?)Regards, Ernst
