*sigh* so many numbers. =) Thanks for the help.
So, for that GTX570 HD 2560MB that I posted the link too above, I found a display port adapter that will let me use the Apple Display. So that problem is solved….I think. As long as that’s the right card for a Mtn Lion Mac.. etc. (there are several options on Amazon Prime.)
But Sascha you’re saying I can’t use the 5770 at the same time at the GTX570 because of space and power right? (Which makes sense)
If that’s the case I think I’m ok with that. I mean I’d rather have two cards, but if just replacing the 5770 with the GTX570 will give me a significant boost, that’s great.AND, I’m just running Resolve Lite, so it will only use one GPU anyway right? So two cards won’t help? Am I missing something?
I’m not expecting real time. I just want something faster than the 5770, and that isn’t $1000.

August 1, 2012 at 10:38 pmDont trust those converters…I tried a bunch and none of them is working flawlessly on a Cinema Display.
Again, try to get a card with Display port out…
And also Resolve light uses 2 or more cards…dosnt matter. You can use the 5770 and GTX, you need a Y adapter and you lose a slot
The Quadro 4000 and GT120 let U use all 4 slots in the MacSo where is your tradeoff ?
