August 17, 2008 at 9:53 pmHere’s one for you. I have a clip. ONE CUT. Single shot. But no matter WHAT phase I choose in pulldown there is always a frame that looks wrong, I can fix one frame and then another good frame has problems. This is the oddest thing and whoever can solve this is deserving of title of AE GURU.

August 2, 2009 at 1:12 pmHello!
I am making my first traditional animation and my deadline is coming up very fast. Now that almost everything is done I still got some problems I did not expect. I would be so pleased if anyone could inform me as soon as possible.
I have made Tiff-files in Paint.net after scanning in my pictures as black and white Tiff-files with my scanner. They are coloured and they also must be coloured. I am wishing to use them in my animation that has to be shown on TV and computer so the quality has to be good. I made them just in case big so that if you zoom-in to them in Paint.net they still look very good.
I got into trouble when importing the files into Stop-Motion Pro and Premiere. Somehow they never look good and you can see the pixels when the pictures are moving.
I have been told that I should buy After effects to edit my pictures so that they continue to look well in movement. However I do not have any experience at all about After Effects and I fear that I could get into same trouble if I bought it.
Would anyone know where the problem is? Could it be in the Paint.net files themselves? Or is it just so that i can not handle those pictures in my current programmes and that After Effects would do it better?
Just in case, this is how the computer descripes the files:
Dimensions: 6200X4960
Type: Tiff file
Size: 1,8MBThank you once more for reading!
With friendly and thankfull regards,

April 16, 2010 at 5:21 amI am making a motion typography video and after I nest Comp 1, I bring in the text to the new Comp (Comp 2), hit the “make layer 3d”, and when I move the camera on the “z” direction, the text becomes blurry. I was curious if anyone could let me know how to preserve the resolution of the comp

March 17, 2011 at 3:04 pmI have saphire genarts.
In the time effects there is one called freeze frame.
After doing audio to keyframes, i wanted the video to freeze in time to the music but when I link the frame rate to the slider it just repeats the same frame.
How do I remedy this? Also how can i change the colour of the video in time to the beat?
Your sincerely Robin
