Hi, I mainly know what you want to do. While you are watching videos on your computer, you could try to record sound from PC sound card by the use of a lot of soundcard recorders such as Audacity, Adobe Audition and streaming audio recorder. If you find Audition is a little complicated, you may go to use other ones.

    Use VB Cable.

I was always having a hard time recording what I hear in windows with my external audio interface. This installs an input/output in your Sound panel which you can set for both playback and recording.

    Works like a charm!

If you want to hear what you are recording in windows through your speakers, set ‘Listen to this device’ by right clicking on the new output channel in your Sound/Recording window created by this app and checking ‘Listen to this device’, then in the drop down select your output/speakers.

    Cheers!
