Activity Forums VEGAS Pro Can’t add AVI movie to Video track in Vegas Studio 8.0c

    Wow…yes that works. It saves them as a whole bunch of mpg files of approximately 204,000 KB in size and corresponding mpg.sfk files of approximately 520 KB each.

    Maybe I went about this the hard way trying to rip one large file with other software in order to import just one file?

    Hmm…but when I add all the files to the timeline, the audio tracks don’t match up – there is a small gap at the end of each event in the audio.

    Is there any way to fix that cleanly and automatically?

    I’ve never experienced that. Are you sure that the DVD has good audio?
    There is no method I know of to auto-sync the audio/video. Hopefully it’s a one time deal and you can just manually fix this one.

    I fixed it by starting over and enabling auto-ripple and the problems went away.
