August 12, 2009 at 9:54 pmI realize that it’s possible that no one will ever see this, and that I may be only responding to myself, but I believe that if a man posts in a forum and no one is there to see it, he, in fact, as still posted, if only for himself to see.
Perhaps this is some pedagogical trick, to help a man help himself. That works for me too.
So,
What about JSE Deinterlacer? I’ve heard good things about it. Will it also make the resulting files mammoth? If not, with there be a quality loss?
Thanks!

It’s possible, sure, but I like to edit in the frame rate I am delivering. I would remove the pulldown first, then edit. COnforming a finished timeline from 29.97 to 23.98 will be very tricky, especially if graphics are involved. The standard workflow is to remove the pulldown, then edit.
We are still listening!
