Sorry but I was not “a gentlemen trying to sell you software”.

You mentioned nothing about only wanting to use FCP in your original post; also nothing as to the amount of audio or any real specific information about your problem. I replied with a method I have used recently as a junior editor on a major broadcast production for Bravo.

Perhaps if you had more information in your original post…

[Bouke Vahl] “Cause this was NOT the question, the question was how to marry two clips after syncing. “

Sorry, my bad. I was “pre-coffee” and looked at the original post where Sean said, “I wanted to know how to go about properly syncing the .WAV files to these transcoded clips.”

[Bouke Vahl] “…the OP had only 12 clips, so buying software / installing / finding out how it works makes no sense for just 12 clips. “

Good points if this was indeed a one-off, but considering the less than clear communication I don’t think we know that.

    Hey guys

thanks everyone for your help and responses i really appreciate it and of course no disrespect to the pioneers and trail blazers. I was just curious if there was some other type of workflow for the Canon 7D besides the linking in fcp route which i am aware of.

Hopefully no hard feelings and everyone have a great weekend!

    best

How stupid / narrow minded / lazy are you?

    Read the original post:
13 files in total – #13 is 1k reference tone.

Seems I wasn’t the only one who was undercaffeinated.

What happened to civility in this forum?

And exactly what about “13 files” suggests to you that he will have more projects like this, so that this is not just a one-off?

You have your company name in your signature. If your posts here are representative of how your customers are treated, I think you can see an obvious way to improve your business success.

    BJ,
Sorry to have been so harsh.

It highly irritates me that very often people don’t read / understand the questions and start giving the wrong advice based on assumptions / ideas that have nothing to do with the subject.
(And i must admit, I’m guilty as well every now and then.)

The internet is full of wrong information,
and no-one seems to care to make clear if what they write is an opinion, guess or proven fact.

    And last:
    Business is doing great.
As for how i treat my customers, i haven’t had a single complaint yet.
(But yes, i’m not political correct. I’m not into politics, i’m a normal human being with a strong opinion.)

    Bouke
