Hey Patrick.

As has been said, the point of rebuilding your system is to do just that, rebuild your system without problems. You do this once and do it right, you should be cool.

First, do the clean install of Leopard. Then do the software updates to being you up to the latest greatest of all the OS stuff.

Then start with FCP, install it, then do the software updates, multiple times.

Install any capture card drivers at this time. Then stop installing and see how everything is going.

Hi Jeremy,
I have to install for the first time Leopard, then FC 6.02. Which QT version is recommendable?
I will start to edit EX-1 stuff and archiving in Blueray. Many new little things to install.
I know FC is working fine, but I don’t want to mess with QT.

If you are doing a fresh install, I’d go up to 7.4.1. Try to avoid 7.4.0.
