[Michael Hancock] “Regarding the right click “Scale to Frame Size” – when I do that in the sequence it doesn’t change the Scale value in the Motion setting in the Effect tab for the clip, but it does scale the clip to fit the comp. Does the scale value change on your system? “

Oh no, it’s definitely busted in 5.5.2. I was trying to look for some sort of setting, I guess that means I’d have to reimport all the footage.

[Michael Hancock] “I’d be interested if you system acts the same way or if I have bug on my computer (note – it happens on the MacPro at work and iMac at home).”

I agree with you that it’s a bug as the values don’t change at all in the motion section.

You can map Scale To Frame Size to the keyboard, select all the clips in your sequence, hit the keyboard shortcut and it will do them all at once. It’s a decent workaround. I just checked it on in the General Preferences and left it on. Hope this bug is fixed in the next patch.

I hear you, but it must be done every time a new clip is added. I think you nailed that it’s a bug.

And I filed a feature request to fix it! I just assumed they intended it to be that way. Sigh – time to file a bug report then.
