    Jason,
    Two questions –
    1. Where in Australia do you live?
    2. Are you prepared to buy direct from China?
The PTZ cameras I buy are available in Standard definition or high definition and are controlled by a PTZ controller which means you can follow a preacher around the pulpit as he preaches his sermon or zoom in on something happening somewhere else in the church. Send me an email at bruceyou@optusnet.com.au and I’ll send you some stuff.
    Regards
    Bruce

What camera are you using? How far from the preacher is it mounted?
What specific RS422 keyboard are you using?

I got approval to upgrade some stuff and this is the missing peice!!

    Any help would be appreciated

Sorry for being so slow it getting back to you. If you would like to communicate with more detail, please send me an email at bruceyou@optusnet.com.au

I use a PTZ robotic camera because it can swing in any direction and also can focus on the pulpit at a distance of 50 meters or more.

The RS422 keyboard is able to direct the camera or cameras (up to 56 I believe) left, right, up, down, zoom in, zoom out etc.

I buy my equipment from KATO Industries in China. The very top of the range cameras are less than $2000. I can send you a price list for this equipment if you wish.

You will need to decide what quality of production you require – HDMI, HD-SDI, component or Composite. This will determine what cabling to use, plus the camera will require a power cable.

    Hope this helps for now.
    Regards

    Hi Bruce,

I am very interested in seeing pics of your setup. We have been using a sony dcr 2100 for over 10 years. We record our preaching on a DVD recorder and then make copies and don’t really want to change that.

We are looking to upgrade but getting info is difficult seeing no one in our assembly is savvy concerning Audio Video.

    Thank you in advance,

    Rodney
