August 1, 2014 at 12:06 pmDo you mean my approach? I use all the elements of VP, no Scripting or additional purchased s/w. As you wanted an “effect” it is purely that, an effect.
I can post the VEG file. What version of Vegas are you using?

Done.
T/C is set for 23.97fps, but all you need to do is “change” the Timecode FX for what you want. All of the Vegas Controls are available and I’ve used then in the way SCS are expecting them to be used. It is ALL here.

Here’s the VEGGIE for VP12 B770:-

As I said, this IS for an “effect”.
Cheers

Did you understand the Project file?
Have you been successful in employing it?

August 3, 2014 at 12:47 pmI opened the VEGGIE and was able to change TC framerate to 29.97fps which I’m using,
disabled the test pattern layer, saved it and imported it as a nested project,
working fine. -
