February 15, 2009 at 9:00 pmThanks Guys,
I have been using Toast 9 + HD Plugin, but the authoring is very Mickey Mouse.I burn on standard DVD disc with the Mac Pro burner, and play on any Blu Ray player profile 1.1 or higher , i do shoot HD-CAM and very pleased with the quality i get on disc. I have produced HD-DVD disc in Studio Pro, like the set up, any way i’ll keep my fingers crossed and hope one day Apple will surprise me!!!!!!.
Regards,
John Higgs. -

March 6, 2009 at 3:35 pmWhat workflow are you using? Is the process complicated for transferring from Apple FCP onto the PC for writing to Blu Ray?

No, an MPEG-2 is an MPEG-2 no matter what platform you take it to.

March 6, 2009 at 4:34 pmOk, so you output to an MPEG2 file, then transfer it to the PC and DoStudio? Obviously a huge file so are you transferring over fibre channel?
