July 30, 2011 at 7:06 pmThe main question is why are you getting a gap in the first place. From your description it seems that you are getting an actual gap clip which you would usually get when using the “position” tool. If you use the “select” tool and drag/drop with snapping on you should not get any gaps. In previous versions of FCP I did a lot of drag/drop but I am finding myself using keyboard shortcuts a lot more now.

July 30, 2011 at 10:18 pmThe timeline list indicates a zero gap clip but there is no gap there in the timeline. Yet another bug. At least it doesn’t actually effect the video.
