AVID export OMF?

Thanks, hahahaha, I guess there’s a bit of job security for awhile then (chuckle).

But I know Final Cut has a number of ‘workable’ tracks and was just wondering how AVID is comparing/coming along in that angle because we all know that certain-budget/size shows are done in/able to be done in the edit system.

What version of pro tools are you running?

I noticed for the first time last month that omf had been removed and replaced with aaf only.
It was a new AVID software (dont know number)

Several.

And I think another user posted something about having to switch to an SD sequence to export OMF these days.

As with most ‘hidden formats’ nowadays, just takes an extra step or two but can still be done.

(having to explain to many people how to export a Motion JPEG-A from Final Cut over the past while)
