Automate slide show picture duration to music?

Love the jocularity . . . this thread is flying over my head . . . how are y’all constructing your slide shows?
A friend sent me a slide show made in Powerpoint (by MS). I could not figure out how to get it into Premiere.

You really wouldn’t take a power point into PPro…

more than likely you’d take a folder full of images into Ppro…

then assemble them in order in a sequence.

you can add a music track…

and time the changes in visuals to the music…or they can be fixed durations…

Lightroom Classic is very similar to the mobile adobe video editor I use on my phone!
