June 11, 2006 at 4:58 pmSorry – was using pointer, not pen tool. That looks like a possible dodge. Copying the complete sequence of clips is something I could try but it is over 60 mins and has hundreds of edits.

June 11, 2006 at 5:04 pmSounds like a bad place to be – but no doubt you have a good programme coming there, and it will come through eventually!!! (My middle name is Polyanna ..)
Have you tried making the timeline window active, then from the edit menu select “select all”, then copy.
Then create a new sequence, and from the edit menu select “paste”.
It will work fine on shorter sequences, but on a long complex timeline it’s going to be RAM hungry.
Otherwise you could set the timeline to show the entire project, and use the pointer to “lasso” / click and drag sections of the timeline to copy and paste …

June 11, 2006 at 5:38 pmI have indeed done a select all and pasted into a new sequence. It all looks to be there, which is pretty impressive if true, but I might wait for the strength of a new morning before actually checking it all! Many thanks for your help and greetings from sunny Scotland.

July 4, 2006 at 6:07 amI had this problem……mine had a VERY simple solution. I had set IN and OUT points, and the mixer ONLY writes between the IN and OUTs. So remove them (PRESS G), and try again. Hope it works out for you.

July 4, 2006 at 7:01 amIsn’t it frustrating just how stupid some of these problems are! The next problem is to figure out if there is any way of making a small cut in a programme without having to remix the whole thing because the mixes are all in the wrong place! Maybe the IN/OUT thing is a clue? – I’ll experiment. Failing that, if I could find some way of deleting all keyframes it would at least speed the process of remixing.
