Now that the audio got from 48Khz to 46.03Khz how does this affect the quality? On the long run will there be any issues with the online? Thanks,

September 13, 2009 at 11:58 amI’m a little late at the party, but nevertheless:
this tool might help a little:
https://www.videotoolshed.com/?page=products&pID=42You can set the playback speed of QT files.
Now it will NOT solve all your problems immediatly.
After altering the playspeed, the FPS in FCP will remain the same!
The viewer will display the correct (new) speed, and even TC will be streched.
In the Canvas it’s a different story. It works swell as long as you scrub, but on RT playback the original speed is used.
To defeat that, you have to render.
So it might help to alter all the clips, import them and media manage while transcoding before staring to edit. But hey, it’s Free. (Well, it’s donationware 🙂

Use Compressor, but Cinema Tools is fast and easy, you just have to deal with the audio being resampled and footage changing time base. Compressor keeps the time base the same.Kudos to Jeremy Garchow for taking the time to do those test samples and video guide and everyone else that contribute in this post.
